Unveiling the Heart: A Look at Gordon Lightfoot’s “If You Could Read My Mind”

Ever since I first heard the song on a TV programme called Trigger happy TV I’ve been captivated by Gordon Lightfoot’s “If You Could Read My Mind”. Although released back in 1970 it is song that doesn’t age. The gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar and Lightfoot’s clear vocal make it timeless for me.
