Poem: Velvet Dusk

Velvet dusk haunts my dreams

All I can hear are screams

Walking the streets in dead of night

Spoiling for a pointless fight

The velvet dusk has me in its embrace

I dream of her dressed in leather and lace

I’m coming apart at the seams

Velvet dusk haunts my dreams
