Fiction: The Thief and the Drunk

“Hope? I know nothing of hope.” said the drunk.

The thief laughed at the drunk.

“Why do you laugh at me worthless thief?”

“I laugh because I’m a thief and bad man but you? You do not know what you are. A thief of time drunken fool. Be home to your wife.”
