Dave & Vinny: Compassion

--

Longcroft Estate, Rampant Horse pub.

“The measure of a country’s worth is the quality of its compassion.”

Dave sipped his pint.

“Have you been eating fortune cookies again my friend?”

“Not at all just thinking deeply about recent events and I don’t like what I see.”

“Right, so you’re thinking about how we treat those that are worst off?”

“Yes and this is more important than ever in this dark times.”

“You’re right compadre. We don’t want bargain basement poor quality compassion. We want the good stuff with a walnut veneer and a feeling that it’ll last forever.”

“You’re making fun of me.”

“It’s possible.”
